Environmental Policy
At Upright Scaffolding we believe it is possible to execute work together with controls that prevent or reduce environmental impacts.
Our commitment is to:
- Protect the environment;
- Prevent pollution;
- Conform with ISO 14001:2015 and comply with all relevant compliance, legal, regulatory and statutory requirements; and
- Work towards continuous improvement.
The objectives we will pursue to satisfy this commitment are:
- Making every reasonable effort to protect the environment from adverse effects, and to minimise any impact that may arise from our operations;
- To encourage staff to respect the environment by utilising appropriate operating procedures, training, providing information concerning the storage, handling, distribution, use and disposal of hazardous substances;
- Carry out regular reviews of our processes to verify compliance with this policy; and
- Provide information about any potential environmental hazards to relevant clients, authorities, employees, and other affected organisations.
